This is your chance to become a PRO BASKETBALL PLAYER!
The Frederick Flying Cows are a professional basketball team that participates in The Basketball League, a showcase league that has helped developed countless players into the NBA, G-League and various overseas professional leagues. This tryout is your opportunity to be evaluated by the professional coaching staff of the Flying Cows, a standard of excellence in the league, with the goal of earning a contract or a training camp invitation.
Players selected to play on the Frederick Flying Cows basketball team are PROFESSIONAL basketball players. Rostered players are paid and are required to be 100% dedicated to the team full-time, during the season. The 2026 Team Tryout will be held on Sunday, September 21st at the Woodsboro Bank Arena at Hood College from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM ET. Check-in begins at 11:30 AM, with tryouts starting promptly at 12:00 PM. Please arrive between 11:30 AM and 11:50 AM.
Players are expected to treat this tryout as an interview. Please arrive on time, wearing the proper basketball attire, and be ready to showcase your skills! Jerseys will be provided; all other equipment, water, snacks, and health products must be supplied by the player.
