MILKSHAKE’S DRAWING CHALLENGE
Draw Milkshake. Get into Cowfest free.
Who is Milkshake?
He’s the mascot of the Frederick Flying Cows basketball team — and he’d like to see how you see him.
The challenge
Kids from schools across Frederick County are drawing the best picture of Milkshake they can. Draw him however you want: on the court, on the farm, flying over Frederick, dunking on somebody. Any materials — crayon, marker, colored pencil, paint.
What you get
Every kid who submits a drawing gets a free ticket to Cowfest.
Every drawing gets hung up at Cowfest on October 25, so bring your family and come find yours.
The winner gets a custom Flying Cows jersey with their name on it.
How to enter
We’ll email your free Cowfest ticket back to you.
Teachers — if your whole class is drawing, you can submit them together. Just send us one entry per student so every kid gets their ticket.
Deadline: October 25th
What’s Cowfest?
Cowfest is Saturday, October 25 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Great Frederick Fairgrounds, presented by Maryland Farm Bureau.
We’re attempting to break the world record for the most people dressed as cows in one place. The record is 1,352, set in Cowaramup, Australia in 2014. There’s also a petting zoo, a candy drop, a milk chug contest, inflatables, food trucks, and a lot more.
Milkshake announces the drawing winner at the event.
