Celebrate the holidays with the Flying Cows at this unique two-day camp! Join Flying Cows coaches, players, and staff on December 30th and 31st to learn the ins and outs of basketball fundamentals, offensive play, and lockdown defense. The camp is available to kids aged 8 to 13.

Enhance your basketball skills at the Flying Cows X Zone 24 School’s Off! President’s Day Youth Basketball Camp! Join the Flying Cows and Zone 24 staff for this elite skills development camp.
Zone 24 is one of the premier training facilities in Western Maryland. With basketball training led by professional players, Zone 24 emphasizes teaching the essential skills needed to improve as a player.
The camp will feature games, skill training, contests, giveaways, and much more, led by the Zone 24 staff! Special appearances by the Flying Cows coaches and players will occur as they kick off their first day of training camp leading up to opening night!
Lunch is not included at camp. Campers are required to bring their own lunch.

Art Claybon, the only person to play and coach Hood College men’s basketball in the NCAA Tournament, is a local basketball legend! A Hood College Athletic Hall of Famer and founder of Zone 24, Frederick’s first basketball training facility, Claybon has trained hundreds of young athletes and leads the grassroots basketball exposure program, Maryland Movement. The Frederick Flying Cows look forward to partnering with Claybon to provide an unforgettable basketball training experience!
Steve Custis, a Frederick High School legend and two-time Player of the Year, built an impressive basketball career that started locally and reached the international stage. After starring at Fairmont State University, Steve played professionally for five years in Austria, South America, and Italy, winning three championships, earning MVP honors, and capturing multiple scoring titles.
Passionate about giving back, Steve co-founded Zone 24 with Art Claybon to inspire and train the next generation of athletes in Frederick. The Frederick Flying Cows are thrilled to join Steve for an exciting President’s Day youth basketball camp!
Join the Flying Cows coaches and players for a fun and competitive week of basketball! Campers will develop their skills, compete in daily games and contests, and take home exciting giveaways.
Each camper will receive an official camp T-shirt and become a member of the Junior Flyers Club, which grants free admission to all 2026 Flying Cows home games when they wear their camp shirt.
The camp will focus on skill development, team play, and competition in a positive and energetic environment. In addition to on-court training, campers will have the opportunity to participate in contests and win prizes throughout the week.
Camps will run from 9 AM to 3 PM, with check-in starting at 8:30 AM and check-out available until 3:30 PM. Lunch is not provided, so campers must bring their own meals. A snack bar will be available for purchases.
Discounts are available: you can receive $50 off for early registration before April 1. Families with multiple children will save $25 per child, and those attending multiple weeks will also get $25 off for each additional week. A combined sibling and multi-week discount is available for $50 off per child, per week. All discounts are applied automatically at checkout.
